Red Cross Logo Child Care First Aid

First Aid & CPR training is mandatory for child care professionals; but, unlike most other types of safety training, these skills and knowledge are also applicable to every individual's daily life. This is why we teach people First Aid & CPR in easy-to-follow steps, empowering them to act on, prevent, and manage life's emergencies.

We offer two types of Canadian Red Cross courses of Child Care First Aid and CPR to help child care facilities be compliant with both federal and provincial/territorial occupational health and safety legislation.

Standard Child Care First Aid is 16 hours and is offered to groups of 8 or more. The Emergency Child Care First Aid is 8 hours and is the minimum requirement for day care facilities. The schedule for the Emergency Child Care First Aid is shown below.

While you are in our school, please refrain from using any perfumes, colognes or aftershave lotions. Their fragrances may be pleasant in the outdoors but not so much in the confined space of a classroom for someone with asthma.
